If you require specialized military footwear such as steel toed boots please ensure you read the description available through the links provided on this web site. Some footwear may not be approved for certain environments such as the flight deck on a Navy carrier or other special naval operations, so make sure you get the right product if needed. Most important, make sure you get the right size shoes. It's important to have comfortable fitting footwear since it can affect your feet and even your back. This is because it can put stress in the wrong areas of your body - I speak from experience.

Armed Forces Special Shoe Size Fit or Need:

If a Sailor has a special shoe size fit or need, DD form 150 is the form to use. This form applies only for Sailors who cannot access listed footwear through regular purchasing options. Qualified military personnel would complete the form on behalf of the Sailor due to medical necessity of fit, who would then submit the completed form and associated documentation to the Defense Orthopedic Footwear Clinic (DOFC). The boot fit option is limited to government issued or required use.
